How I Work
I prioritize authenticity over clinical scripts. Therapy only works when there's a foundation of safety and mutual respect — and that's what I build with every client from day one. My goal isn't to tell you who to be. It's to give you a space where you can stop performing and start exploring. Together, we'll work to bridge the gap between where you came from and where you want to go.
How I Got Here
I didn't stumble into this work by accident. My path to clinical social work was shaped by my own experience navigating two cultures, two sets of expectations, and the quiet weight that comes with that. That's what brought me here — and it's what keeps me showing up for every client.
Step 1: The Roots
Growing up between two cultures, I understood early on what it felt like to carry expectations that didn't always fit. That experience never left me — it became the foundation of everything I do.
Step 2: Finding the Work
I pursued clinical social work because I wanted to help people navigate the spaces no one talks about — the guilt, the pressure, the in-between. I knew there was a need for a therapist who truly understood that weight.
Step 3: Building the Skills
I completed my training in Virginia, specializing in attachment-informed therapy, anxiety, depression, and culturally responsive care. I'm licensed in both Virginia and Maryland.
Step 4: Starting Myndful Wellness
I founded Myndful Wellness to create a space where first-generation individuals and children of immigrants could finally feel seen — without having to explain themselves first.
